Historic Restoration is one of the most satisfying things we do, but it’s not easy.
Below are some pictures of a project we completed in Brentwood, TN. When we arrived, we could see we were in for a challenge.
The molding and trim work was so old, it was no longer in production, so we couldn’t just go out and buy some more. We had to source a company that could make the blades for the trim, and then have all the replacement trim manufactured for this exterior paint and restoration job.
In addition to this, much of the work was tedious dental molding, which required hours of painstaking scraping and sanding to remove the rot and old paint.
